I have no idea what I was doing while other girls were learning makeup but I didn’t get that skill. Instead I think I was playing flag football with my brothers (losing most likely) but enjoying my childhood. It’s only fair though because I can’t be great at everything. But I do enjoy trying it out. I can watch a million Youtube videos and Instagram tutorials but it doesn’t mean much without trying it! Influenster sent me some awesome free goodies to help me step out of my comfort zone. * This go around I got the Maybelline New York 24K Nudes Eye Shadow Palette, Maybelline Angel Waterproof Mascara and a Maybelline Waterproof Gel Pencil.

I consider anything past lipstick as work when it comes to makeup so I sat down and gave these awesome shadows a chance. I loved this! It was easy to apply and the brush it came with picked up the product well. If I can apply this shadow than anyone can. I loved the pigment, the variety and I would probably buy more of it once it’s gone for special occasions. I loved the gold color and how soft and light they all were. As far as the mascara went, it’s easy to apply but I gave up being that my natural lashes are long and they’re in the way! I can’t see past my lashes! Which is probably how I poked myself in the eye at least twice trying to apply the mascara which has a s cool slanted brush. Here’s the final product!

Would I do this every day? As I like sleep, I will most definitely not! I’ll stick to my lipstick regimen. But am I glad to have tried this? Yup! Check out Influenster for some free goodies!
