Currently falling asleep at my desk listening to Keri Hilson’s “Slow Dance” and it’s not because I’m tired of the usual mundane tasks of being a secretary this time (although I am). I think it has something to do with the long late night 5AM strolls in the house this weekend. My best friend (since the sandbox—I don’t even remember meeting this girl that’s how long we’ve been friends) and I went out this weekend. Friday we went to Whim and a gay bar. That was my second time ever going to a gay bar and it never gets old. It was very entertaining. I actually knew some people there. Then yesterday we went bar hopping on the South Side and the dress I got from Nasty Gal got me so many compliments & invites to places I would rather not go.

There’s my weekend in a nutshell. Also I finally made some progress with the first chapter of this book I’ve been writing. I have been working on the trilogy I finished the ending first and the first chapter has been the hardest & finally I’m on a roll. Also I’m finally emotionally single. It’s been kinda hard getting over my last relationship so now I’m really ready to date again. That is the best feeling in the world getting over a guy & all. It was very hard but it needed to be done.

So I shall got back to that.  This week I’m telling my father that my biological bought me a car hopefully he takes it well. On the seventh I’m taking my driver’s test & I’m very confident I’ll pass. Wish me luck.

I shall go back to pretending to work & write this story that needs to be written until my cousin calls me saying she’s about to give birth to my little cousin then I shall take my lunch. Anywho, how rude of me, how was your weekend?
