So it’s 2013 and I really am looking forward to a fresh start. My new year’s resolutions this year are simple.

Get a new job
Get a car
Get a new house
Smile often

I spent the new year doing my usual. Every NYE I spend time with the kids in my family at my house. I host a sleepover full of goodies, video games, movies and sparkling apple cider. It’s always awesome. It’s was oodles of fun.

& We surprised my former roommate who was home from the Airforce on the 28th and we drove to her town & attended her surprise party and then took her to the city to party. It was lots and lots of fun.

She pretended to be surprised. Turns out she knew about the party but she didn’t know when it
was going to be and she surely didn’t know her college friends would show up. I love her.
