Crazy thing: Before online dating there was blind dating that took effort and a bit of courtship. Does courting still exist?  There’s no way sliding in someone’s inbox and asking them to meet at your house works. Just because communication got easier doesn’t mean women have. 

My first boyfriend asked me out in front of all my peers and have them chant “say yes.” One guy took his shot while I was at work and professed his affection with flowers and Valentine’s Day candies. Was it cheesy? Yes! But it was genuine effort. I don’t care how many cars you have or how much money you make because the wrong kind of women are attracted to those things.
